Dr. Meyer saw me through my degree in Piano Pedagogy at ENMU that prepared me well for a lifetime of playing and teaching piano. I'm sorry several attempts to locate her were not realized as I would have loved to express my gratitude and appreciation. Linda Fern Fay, Music Faculty, Ventura College.

Dr. Meyer popped into my mind today, so I searched her name on the internet and found this obituary. I had no idea she had been living so close to me. I was a student of hers at ENMU in the 70s, and have fond and funny memories of her. She was a mother to all her students - probably in more ways than one - inviting us to her house about once a week for a meal, impassioned discussions, some impromptu piano playing, and, more often than not, some much needed counseling. She has been and will continue to be often in my thoughts as a wonderful teacher and a caring person.
