Robert "Bob" Bell, died Monday, March 25, 2013 at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer, Alaska.
A Celebration of Life service will be held later this summer.
Bob was an extraordinary man. He was not only genuine and kindhearted but honest and hardworking as well. When he wasn't working at Three Bears, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating. Just about anything that got him outdoors. But more than that, spending quality time with his family always came first. He was a completely committed family man. Family was his first priority.
Bob was the best father anyone could ever ask for. He loved all of his children and grandchildren with every piece of his heart. He always said the best part of being a father is becoming a grandfather. Chloe, Kody, and Kennedy were the sunshine of his life. Being a dedicated father and grandfather was a goal he achieved every day, with every breath he took.
When Bob walked into a room, it was lit up. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. He was a very big hearted man and loved to make people laugh. There wasn't anyone funnier than him. He always made sure everyone was taken care of before himself. There was not a selfish bone in his body. We know in our hearts that he truly touched everyone who knew him.
Bob was the type of person that you could really look up to. He was a father, grandfather, role model, mentor, and friend with immeasurable qualities.
The world is a much sadder place without him in it. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing him is by far a much richer person.
Bob will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew him. We have definitely lost one of the good ones, but he will continue to live on in our hearts, souls, and memories.
