Lifetime Alaskan Toni "Mama Bear" Logan Goodrich, 51, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018.
Toni was born on May 4, 1967, to Darryl and Willamae Logan in Juneau, Alaska. From the time Toni was a little girl she always looked for ways she could help or give to others. After graduating from Dimond High, Toni spent a number of years in New York and San Diego, Calif. What she missed while working and traveling was being close to family, friends and Alaska, the home and community she loved and later gave so much.
Toni moved back to Alaska in 1996, and started a new chapter of her life at Oxford Assaying & Refining Corp. It was at Oxford Toni found her true passion serving the mining and bullion community throughout all of Alaska. Being back home, Toni was able to not only focus on serving the community via Oxford, but also reaching out to non profits throughout several communities. In 2015, Toni was presented with the John Trauntner philanthropist of the year award from Covenant House Alaska for her ongoing support of children in our community.
Those who had the opportunity to know Toni on a personal level knew that she lived life to its fullest and strove to touch everyone in a special way only Toni could. Toni's smile would brighten every room she entered and her love was unconditional.
Toni is survived by her adoring husband, Ryan; loving son, Logan; her parents; sister, Jennifer Meyhoff; nephew, Blake; niece, Alexandra; and many friends she considered family.
A celebration of life will be held in Anchorage, Alaska, at the Bayshore Clubhouse on Sept. 3, 2018, from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Covenant House Alaska or Children's Lunchbox in honor of Toni.

I was lucky enough to meet Toni on her first day of 5th grade at Campbell Elementary, we remained friends all through middle school,High School and after. Many times in 7th or 8th grade on the bus she made sure no bullies picked on us, she stood up and protected everyone she knew. Such a kind heart, soul and person. To the Logan, Meyhoff family I am so sorry for your loss. She will be missed by many, RIP Toni
