Carolyn Hall

Former Anchorage resident Carolyn Hall, 77, died July 25, 2013 in Spartanburg , SC after a short illness. Born July 7, 1936; in Jacksonville, Florida to Tracy and Etta Canova.

Ms. Hall transferred to Anchorage with the FBI in the early 1960's and lived in Anchorage for over 30 years. She also worked for the ATF while living in Seattle, Washington. She retired in 2005 and settled in Spartanburg, SC, where she lived until her death.

She enjoyed Civil War history, traveling, wine tasting, and playing Scrabble and bridge. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg.

Survivors include a son, Kevin (Heather) and granddaughter, Cameron of Huntington Beach, Ca; a sister, Anne and her husband, Charles Anderson of Tallahassee, Fl; two nephews, and a niece.
