Einar Albin Larson Sr., 83 died April 25, 2013 at the St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, Idaho following a short battle with Lung Cancer.
He leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Lois (Nass) Larson; sons, Michael and his wife Sandy, Einar Jr. and his wife Becky and his daughter Sandra Starnerher and her companion Kim Wyndance; his cousin Russ Hanna, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends.
Einar was born and raised in Minnesota, the son of Einar Lillium Larson and Gladys (Eastwood) Marquette.
He spent his youth growing up on the Larson farm. After graduating from Bagley High School he married the love of his life and joined the Army
After his military service he and his new family moved back to International Falls Minnesota where he opened Larson Machine Shop until he moved his family to Eagle River Alaska in 1967. He worked for the Army for twenty years at which time he retired in 1988. They moved to Gold Bar Washington and moved to Emmett, Idaho in 2004.
Einar could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. He received several awards for his inventions or modifications while working for the Army. He built several houses in Alaska and developed a large piece of land in Washington.
Interment will be at a later date in Bagley, Minnesota. Arrangements were made with the Potter Funeral Chapel Emmett, Idaho.
