Former Anchorage resident Stephen Lowell Reynolds, 65, died June 14, 2014 in Hawaii. He was born Aug. 17, 1948 in San Bernardino, California. Steve proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy
on the USS Hornet and in Vietnam. He grew up in Anchorage, attended West High School, graduated from Long Beach State College, and worked many years for AWWU. He moved to Hawaii in 1988. In Hawaii, Steve worked as a Radiological and CT Technician for Kona Community Hospital. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Steve was a hard worker, restorer of classic vehicles, ultimate handyman, artistic, horticulturist of sorts, and giving to others. He is survived by his wife Lynne of 45 years; daughter Kathleen Raynor with grandsons Steven and Joseph of Anchorage, AK; brothers: Robert (Hope) Reynolds of Anchorage, AK; Dan (Holly) Reynolds of Anchorage, AK; John Reynolds of North Dakota; Dennis Reynolds of Julian, CA; and sister Mary Ellen (Ron) Smith of Anchorage, AK. He has many nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his son, Dennis Reynolds. A Celebration of Life was held on June 20, 2014 at St. Jude Episcopal Church in Ocean View, Hawaii.
