William Miller

William C. Miller passed away November 22, 2013 at Providence Hospital in Anchorage.

Bill was born March 3, 1939 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He served in the Air Force, traveling all over the world finally fulfilling his dream by being stationed in Alaska in 1975 where he called home from that day forward. Bill retired from the Air force in 1981 and began his second career at Totco, Inc. where he met many lifelong friends.

Bill loved everything Alaska had to offer. He was a true lover of the out of doors and took his family out almost every weekend camping, boating or spending time at his cabin. He always enjoyed what nature had to offer.

Bill was dedicated to his beloved wife Nina of fifty years who passed before him and whom he missed terribly. He is survived by his children Beverly Blakeslee of Anchorage and Steven Miller of Payson, AZ, his grandchildren Jamie and Matthew Blakeslee of Anchorage, his son in law Michael Blakeslee, his sister and her family Wilma Jones of Moore, Oklahoma and his dog Molly who brought much joy and companionship to his life.

A small service with family and friends will be held later this month where Bill will once again be joined with Nina. Arrangements were entrusted to Alaska Heritage Memorial Chapel of Anchorage.
