Angela Michelle Brugliera of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away on Feb. 15, 2018, after courageously fighting through years of unimaginable pain. She was 37.
God created Angela with a sweet and gentle spirit, yet she was spontaneous and sought adventure when her body was well. Her contagious laugh, joyfulness and genuine love for other people left those who spent time with her forever touched. Angela had unending compassion just like her mother and lived much of her life sharing that compassion with other hurting people, whom she truly loved. She approached life with fearless tenacity, fighting through life's difficulties and seizing opportunities to bring humor to those who surrounded her. She enjoyed her family and friends through activities such as cycling, singing and simply spending time together. Animals and children alike were drawn to Angela because of her gentleness. She was adored by her nieces and nephews who will forever miss her presence in their lives.
Angela was born to Andrew and Sherry Tainter in Fairbanks, Alaska, on Jan. 14, 1981. She moved with her family to Anchorage in 1991, and in 1998, met her future soul mate, Tony, who remained loyally by her side to the end. After graduating from Service High School, Angela and Tony were married and she soon gave birth to her baby boy, Davin. Angela worked as a nurse's aide in the pediatric department at Providence Hospital for many years, where she found joy working with children.
Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Sherry Tainter; and sons, Arkin and Kaysen Brugliera. She is survived by her husband, Tony Brugliera; son, Davin Brugliera; brother, Andrew Tainter; sisters, Kristin Cedano and Karin Parcha; her father, Andrew Sr.; seven nieces; and nine nephews.
The family appreciates the continued prayers and support of relatives, friends and others. Those who feel led to make donations can send them to Credit Union 1, account number 591642, routing number 325272063, bank code CQ. All donations will go to support Angela's son, Davin, as he begins his new life after high school next year.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at 11 a.m., at Chapel by the Sea, 14730 Turnagain Bluff Way, in Anchorage.
