Bobbie was born August 19, 1934 in Livermore, California, daughter of August and Rose (Heenan) Grisel.

She was a strong, independent, feisty woman who lived a full life on her terms. She participated on several high school teams such as bowling, basketball, swimming, band and cheerleading. After high school, she became a jill-of-all-trades working as a travel agent, bartender, waitress, restaurant owner, truck driver, order clerk, and merchandiser. She retired from REI and moved to Big Lake, Alaska where she finally found her true home. Her lifelong interests included reading, kite flying, hunting, fishing and gardening. She loved the outdoors and could usually be found working in her yard. She took great pride in the home she built, her yard, her daughters, granddaughter and the many friends she felt blessed to have.

Bobbie's spunk and tenacity will be missed by all, but her spirit will always be with us.

She is preceded in death by her parents, August and Rose Grisel; brother, August Grisel; sister, Lorraine George; and her beloved cat Tink.

She is survived by daughters: Shawn Robinson of Everett, WA; and Kelley Robinson of Anchorage, AK; and granddaughter, Jennifer Turner of Everett, WA. She also leaves behind her dear friends Janet, Linda and Helen, her caring Big Lake neighbors and the members of the Big Lake Red Hats whom she shared many laughs and adventures. She felt truly blessed in the amazing friends she had.
