Bea - I come to work and miss you, I need help and realize I need you, I wanted to have more time for us to realize a frienship past work. We had some bumps along the way and that is what made us appreciate and grow with each other more, like a sister , you were to me without my outright saying it. You have sparkle and caring that go beyond the barrier. I miss you - I miss you...

Bea you where my youngest Sister-In-Law. I will always remember the great times we had. When you came to visit us in Fairbanks and wanted to learn to drive you almost ran us into the lake.. Then the time your return with us to Alaska from Calif. That was quite a trip. We laugh until we were in tears, even though Jerry got mad at us, for we didn't know where we where. When Jerry and I were in DC, you took care of my grandsons. When you came to visit us at the cabin, we drive to Homer, we always had a great time. You will always be missed. I am going to plant a tree at the cabin you will always be in my heart. Love and miss you Rosalie and Jerry

Bea Johnson was my favorite alaskan. I worked closely with her for 2 years at the Municipality of Anchorage and during that time she shared several stories that made me laugh and cry, stories that I will always remember. We would sing all the time too. Esp. Linda Rondstadt and George Harrison and "Do you know the way to San Jose?". I would call her Aunt Bea just like the Andy Griffith show. I think of her as an aunt as well, mailing cards and letters and sharing advice with me the last 10 years after I moved back to Portland. I've had carnations in a vase all week in memory of you Bea. I love you and I'll always miss you. I'm planting a tree in your memory. Amanda K.

I never got to meet Bea in person, but felt like I knew her from Kathy. I know she was an awesome friend to Kathy and I'm sure Kathy will miss her greatly. I was so glad that our cards gave your mother joy, I so wish she could have kicked that cancer in the butt. But I know she is in a better place and pain free now. She will be looking down on her family and friends I'm sure. My prayers and thoughts will be with you during this difficult time. Brenda Lawrence/friend of Kathy Lackey

I knew Bea for a short period of time through our jobs and always found her to be so helpful. I am saddened at her death which came too soon, much too soon. Patty Hostetter

I have lit this candle in honor of the goodness in your life. You always had something possitive to say about everyone regardless of the circumstance.
