Bertha Jennings Obituary

Bertha "Aqugaq" Stalker Jennings, 68, died May 5, 2011, peacefully at home in Anchorage.

She was born Sept. 23, 1942, in Noatak to the late Marie and Jacob Stalker Sr.

She is survived by her husband, George "David" Jennings; son, Brian Lowe; daughter, Charlene LaFountain; many siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, with a viewing from 2 to 3 p.m., at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Burial will take place in Noatak.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to Bertha family.
I knew David and Bertha from BINGO. she was always very chirpy, and happy to see everyone, she is going to be missed, I seen her last week at the Bingo hall, and I asked her are you ok? she said yes,but, she just didnt look right, RIP, the lord has taken her home, and there she is waiting for her loved ones, and all of us, David, may god be with you now and forever, and the rest of her family,but,we all know that she has no more pain and she isnt suffering anymore, May God comfort all of you, and may the Lord give her a special place in heaven becuz we all know she deserves it.

my mother use to tell me-when i see bertha-tell her who my great grandmother is and she will know you as a relative from kiana. bertha alway knew.
