Betty Jean Sandoval, 87, passed away from natural causes on Jan. 22, 2018, at the Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. She was born on Nov. 13, 1930, in Noble, Okla., and became a resident of Anchorage in 1952.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., at American Legion Post #1.
Betty worked for the Anchorage School District at Wendler Junior High. Her hobbies included taking care of her family, cooking and entertaining.
She is survived by her husband, Jess Ray Sandoval; son, Rocky Sandoval; daughters, Dana Moffett, Cami Sandoval and Paula McClurg; grandchildren, Scott Sandoval, Jess Sandoval, John Sandoval and Santana Sandoval; and several great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her son, Mike Sandoval.
Arrangements are with Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
