Anchorage resident, Bryan David Nielsen, 50, passed away, Thursday, June 13, 2013 at his home in Anchorage.

Bryan was born July 6, 1962 to Gerald Donald and Dot Elizabeth (Dreger) Nielsen in Fairbanks, Alaska. He was raised there for a year before his family moved out of state. Bryan returned to Alaska living in Anchorage in 1986 where he has resided ever since. He had gone to vocational school at the Saint Augustine Technical Center in Florida.
"Bryan was a loving brother, son and friend who had a heart as big as Alaska. Bryan, you will be greatly missed," wrote his family.
Bryan is survived by his mother, Dot E. Adams of Russellville, AL; sisters and brother in-laws, Debbie J. and Bobby J. Puckett of Russellville, AL and Terri L. and Bobby J. Campbell of Green Cove Springs, FL; brother and sister in-law, Edward I. and Mary Nielsen of Wauna, WA; nieces, Stephanie A. Saathoff of Rochester, MN, Megan and Sara Campbell both of Green Cove Springs, FL; nephews, Jeremy D. Akers of Wasilla, AK, Bobby J. and Sean Campbell both of Green Cove Springs, FL.
