Carole Bosch passed away on Sept. 18, 2017, surrounded by family and friends. Present at her bedside was her husband of nearly 29 years, Jim.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Anchorage, Alaska, on Saturday, July 7, 2018, with a reception to follow at the Anchorage Senior Center.
Carole was born in Chicago, Ill., on April 9, 1941, to Patrick and Lucille Ford. Carole came to Alaska in 1965. She lived in Homer, Alaska, and then Anchorage. Carole married her husband, Jim, on Oct. 18, 1988.
Carole worked for Anita's downtown, Hickel Investments, Costco and for over ten years as a Wal-Mart people greeter, retiring in 2005.
Carole enjoyed morning workouts at the senior center; growing vegetables in her garden; and photographing moose calves eating her vegetables.
Carole and her husband were very involved with the Anchorage Senior Center as well as St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. They looked forward to their children and grandchildren visiting every summer and they enjoyed playing cards.
Carole is survived by daughters, Kim of Singapore and Tracy of California; and sons, Mike and Dave of Utah, Scott of Georgia and Greg of Anchorage. Carole also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and two granddoggers.
