Charles Andrew Bass was born to the late Elmira and Warren Bass in West Palm Beach, Fla. Six siblings blessed his family, with the passing of two - Warren Jr. and Samuel.
Surviving siblings include: Elizabeth, Russell, Lorraine and Viola. Preceding his death was his first wife, Carolyn; and his eldest daughter, Dedra.
Charles retired from the United States Military in 1998; He retired as a Master Sergeant. His life consisted of teaching, traveling, blues, jazz, scotch and airplanes. Charles remarried, to Motiana, in 1998. He worked hard to support his family and loved them even more.
He leaves behind a bountiful amount of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved him very much. Also cherishing his memories are his kids: Charles Jr., Justin, Victor, Garret, Losa, Boy and Ethan.
His family will be honoring his memory on Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. at Witzleben Legacy Funeral Home, 1707 South Bragaw Street in Anchorage, Alaska.
