Dale Delkettie, 52, of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away from natural causes on Oct. 31, 2016. Dale was born in Anchorage on Jan. 22, 1964, to Jessie Marie (Millett) and Drafin "Buck" Delkettie. Dale is the youngest of five children. He graduated from Covenant High School in Unalakleet, Alaska, in 1982. In 1983, Dale joined the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union 367 and began his apprenticeship program. Four years later, Dale turned out as Journeyman Pipefitter. Dale was very skilled in his field and traveled extensively throughout Alaska, including places such as Prudhoe Bay and Dutch Harbor. He also worked in Oregon as well as Guam. He loved his work and the union brothers he worked with. His ashes will be taken to the beloved home cemetery of Ken and Snooks Moore, in Homer, Alaska. A celebration of life will be held on Nov. 19, 2016, at 2:30 p.m., at the Legacy Heritage Chapel, 440 Klatt Road in Anchorage. Gifts, in memory of Dale, may be made by making a donation to the .
