David Victoroff passed away peacefully on Feb. 16, 2018, in Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna, Alaska. David Victoroff was born in Old Iliamna, Alaska, on Oct. 15, 1930. He is predeceased by his son, Walter Wayne Victoroff; and sister, Jenny Runstetler.
In 1963, he was married to his former wife, Bertha Alexander Jacko. The family ended up in Kodiak, Alaska, with David as a commercial fisherman in Bristol Bay and a lifetime carpenter.
He is survived by his daughter, Bernice A. Johnson of Kenai, Alaska; son, David A. Victoroff of Killeen, Texas; Amber B. Victoroff of Willow, Alaska; grandchildren, Heather N. Christman, Brittany Victoroff, Jade D. Johnson, David Wayne Victoroff and Marcus Victoroff; and great-grandchildren, Gavin J. Victoroff, Avery J.K. Crawford, Riley D. Crawford, Carter T. Evans and Bentley Walter Evans.
He loved to take long drives, and spontaneously take trips to Texas. He loved to help anybody and was an unpaid taxi driver. He also loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved his home in Pedro Bay on Iliamna Lake.
A memorial service will be held at Kalifonsky Christian Center on Kalifornsky Beach Road in Kenai, Alaska, at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, and another service will be held at Bethel Chapel, 239 Price Street, Anchorage, AK 99508, on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at 11 a.m
