Edward J. Hyatt III, 58, died unexpectedly at home on Jan. 27, 2018.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, at 1 p.m., at the Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery, 535 East 9th Avenue in Anchorage, Alaska.
Ed was born on March 13, 1959, in Chicopee, Mass. He lived many places, including New York, Massachusetts, and Hawaii, but Alaska has always been his home starting in 1972.
Ed was preceded in death by his brother, David; and grandparents. He leaves behind his parents, Ed and Donna Hyatt; and his brother, Kevin. Ed had many friends, but there were relatives and friends that were special and helped him in his life, including his godmother, Helen McGrath; her daughter, Jeanette Symonds; Ed's cousin, Danny Callahan; and friends, Max Domschot and Thomas Hylton. All of us will miss his caring and gentle soul.
In memory, we ask for no flowers. Memorial donations can be made to Ed's favorite charities: Hospice of Anchorage and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Arrangements were made with Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
