Ed was the son of John and Margaret Hoeschen. His siblings include: Donald M. Hoeschen, Daniel Carl Hoeschen, Louise Christine Hoeschen Goldberg, Henry Albert Hoeschen and Michael J. Hoeschen (deceased).
Ed was a graduate of Queen Anne High School in Seattle, Wash., where he played football and sang in the choir. He had a beautiful rich bass voice. He served in the Navy and then spent over 40 years as a Commercial Real Estate Broker in Alaska and Washington state.
Ed was a Charter member of the Fremont Rotary.
As a bachelor, his main love was the sea where he spent 35 years sailing worldwide. He truly enjoyed deep sea fishing, various cultures and the sailing community. He was a licensed ham radio operator (N7EDD).
Ed loved his independence, his many friends, travel, music and animals, especially his dog, Fritz, and cat, Chloe.
Those who knew him knew he was a man of his word who was kind to those in need.
Ed will be deeply missed by many.
Bon Voyage Ed and Aloha 'Oe.
