Life long Alaskan Ellis Lee Kaloke died on July 14, 2017, in Levelock, Alaska. Ellis was born in Nome, Alaska, on Feb. 2, 1980, to Stanley Walker and Thelma Jane McCafferty.
Ellis attended Chugiak High School and graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 1999. He was a commercial fisherman that truly loved and enjoyed Alaska. His favorite pastimes include camping, fishing, snowboarding, hiking and fixing and playing with RC cars. He cherished his moments with his nieces and nephews.
Ellis will be remembered for his willingness to always help elders, family and friends, whether he knew them or not. He was always up for an adventure.
He is survived by his mom and stepdad, Rick and Jane McCafferty; father, Buddy Walker; his brothers and sisters, Gary and Arian Kaloke, Robby and Jennifer Ben, Scott Walker, Troy Walker and Michael Walker; and nieces, Morgen Kaloke and Aubree and Alena Ben; and nephew, Hunter Kaloke.
