Erica Rose Brownrigg-Green, 26, died August 29, 2013 at home in Wasilla.

Erica was born November 15, 1986 in Seattle, Washington and was baptized at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Renton, WA. Erica moved to Alaska in 2002, residing in Anchorage and graduating from Dimond High School in 2005 before moving out to Wasilla.

She worked for the Wasilla Target in the warehouse loading and unloading. She also worked at the Frontiersman as a route driver for Wasilla, Knik, Pt. McKenzie, Big Lake and Houston, as well as the Anchorage Daily News.

Erica rescued traumatized pit bull dogs, caring for and re-homing them. She enjoyed snowboarding at Hatchers Pass, hiking and camping in and around Hope.

"Erica remains truly beloved by all who had the good fortune of knowing her. She was a genuinely beautiful, innocent, and joyful spirit, and an unending wellspring of strength and light. She will be sorely missed daily."

Local services were held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel. Additional Services will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with interment following at Greenwood Memorial Park on Saturday, September 7, 2013 in Renton, WA. Pallbearers are her brothers, Shaun and Scott Green, friends, Noah Horn, Jonathan Wheeler, cousin Anthony Spring and great uncle Russell Morency.

Survived by her father and mother, Al Green and Leitha Svor-Green of Wasilla; brothers and sister in laws, Shaun Green and Christalin Vyctres of Auburn, WA, Scott Green and Aubreonne Bassnet-Green; sister, Jasmyn Green, all of Wasilla; niece, Iris Vyctres of Auburn, WA; grandparents, Maynard and Rose Svor, Darlin Colvello of Renton, WA, Karolyn Morency of Enumclaw, WA, and great grandmother, Betty Meinhardt of Enumclaw, WA; aunts and uncles, Diane and Ron Potts of Vaughn, WA, Katherine Green of Ocean Shores, WA, Maynard R. Svor of Renton, WA, Barbara Albert of Enumclaw, WA, Stuart Green of Anchorage, AK, Yolanda and Yves Reinert of Hagnau, Switzerland; great uncle, Russell Morency of Oregon City, OR and great aunt, Janet Sigmund, of Idaho.
