Gus Enlow McKenzie, Jr., 78, passed away at home in Anchorage on June 1, 2013.

He was born on October 21, 1934 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Gus served in the U. S. Army in Berlin. He lived in Tanana, Alaska from 1969 to 1973 and has lived in Anchorage since 1976. He worked as an Electronics Technician/Inspector with the FAA for 32 years until he retired in 1992.

Gus is survived by his wife of 50 years, Emily; daughters, Lisa and Jennifer; son-in-laws, Dan and Lorenzo; granddaughter, Katie; grandson, Augie and many nieces, nephew, great nieces and great nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hotel Captain Cook Tower 1 (10th Floor) Rooms 1 and 2 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 8th.
