Harry A. Raynor, 60, died at his home in Anchorage on May 28, 2011. His wife, Cathy, was by his side. Harry was born Jan. 20, 1951, in Tampa, Fla.

He and his family moved to Alaska in 1992.

He retired from the Anchorage Fire Department on Sept. 11, 2009.

Harry lived life to the fullest and loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Gohring-Raynor; sons, Thomas Raynor, James Raynor and Louis Raynor; daughter, Logan Larson; son-in-law, Dana Larson; mother-in-law, Myrtle Gohring; grandsons, Dennis Raynor and Draydon Larson; and sister, Harrilee Morelli.

At his request, there will be no funeral or memorial services. The family asks that you remember him and celebrate his life the way you think Harry would have wanted.

A very special thank you goes to Anchorage Fire Department Station 12, Alaska House of Harley, Alaska Leather, Sal's New York Grill and Catering, and all who provided love and support.

He will be missed.
