Heather Angeleen Williams, 29, died July 21, 2007, of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident on the Seward Highway.
A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at ChangePoint Church in Anchorage, 6689 Seafood Drive off of Raspberry Road and Minnesota Drive.
Heather was born April 20, 1978, in Anchorage. At age 16, she modeled with Robert Powers Modeling, which took her to national modeling competitions in New York City. She graduated from S.A.V.E. High School. She married Michael Williams on Aug. 29, 2003, in Anchorage.
Heather enjoyed many interests including coordinating family events and parties, camping and four-wheeling, hiking, road trips, dancing, singing and music.
Her family wrote: "Heather's love of life was shown to everyone every day in the way she lived it. She lit up the room when she walked in. Heather's feisty personality and infectious smile made an impression on all who knew her.
"Heather was a loving wife and mother. With her husband's deployment to Iraq, Heather became involved in the Family Readiness Group for his unit. She wanted to help other families whose spouses had also been deployed to Iraq. This was a huge undertaking and was very important to her. Heather was always there to support anyone in need: family, friends and strangers alike.
"Heather is loved tremendously by her family and friends. Her love of life was an inspiration to everyone."
She is survived by her husband, Staff Sgt. Michael Williams; children, Justine, Kelcie and Payton; father, Stanley Hunt and wife, Gail; mother, Amy Hunt Bezek and husband Robert Bezek; in-laws, David and Donna Williams; sister, Vikki Keel; cousins, Debby, Jason and Brandt Cryer, and Chris, April, Kevin and Wesley Stroud; nephew, Tyler; and extended family and friends.
Donations may be made to the Heather Williams Memorial Fund at Alaska USA Federal Credit Union, account 1339292.
