Jane Loretta Schlosser, age 69, died peacefully in her home on Nov. 29, 2016.
After more than 20 years, Jane retired from the Anchorage School District in 2009. She was involved at St. Benedict's Church, where she bowled, played pinochle, ushered, was involved in prayer chain and helped serve at pancake breakfast.
She is survived by her husband, David Schlosser; her brother, Dennis Garoutte; her five children, Mike Boese (Carrie), Brenda Boese-Johnson (Ted), Chris Boese (Whitney), Wendy Sturdivant (Tai) and Scott Schlosser; and her nine grandchildren, Jesse, Micaela, Mavric, Ellie, James, Kylee, Mia, Teya and Aiden.
A funeral mass for Jane will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at 11 a.m. at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, 8110 Jewel Lake Road in Anchorage, Alaska. A rosary service will precede the funeral at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to Claire House,
and Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Memorial Fund.
She lived a happy and fulfilling life and was blessed with great family and friends.
