Jeffrey Scott Hately, born on May 16, 1967, passed away, at the age of 50, on Nov. 2, 2017, at Alaska Native Medical Center due to complications of recent illness and other underlying medical issues.
He was born in Bethel, Alaska, the third son of William and Joan Hately. The family moved to Anchorage, Alaska, in 1975, where he graduated from West High School in 1985. He lived most of his life in Alaska, except for about 10 years when he lived with his then wife Cindy in Denver, Colo. He enjoyed watching all sports, but especially loved cheering for the Denver Broncos.
He is survived by his former wife, Cindy; and their daughters, Danielle, Courtney and Brooke, all of Denver; his parents, William and Joan of Anchorage; his brothers and their wives, William Jr. and Jennifer of Anchorage, Charles and Julia of Seattle, Wash., and Craig and Leslie of Anchorage; sister, Mari of Anchorage; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
No funeral services are being held at this time; a memorial service is planned for later in 2018. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Beans Cafe or The Children's Lunch Box.
