Joshua Pepperd Obituary
Josh had a deep faith in Christ and it was evident to all who knew him. His Christianity was demonstrated through his actions, character, integrity and passions. Josh believed God did not put us on this earth to do nothing against the evils on this planet that go against His nature. He felt strongly that his resources belonged to God, they are provided by His grace and to be used for His glory. He deeply loved his family. He impressed upon them to take the Lord's Word into their hearts, thoughts and deeds. He talked to them about God when they sat at home and when they walked together, when they prepared to lie down and when they got up in the morning (Josh's house is full of scriptures and they are even written on his doorframes).
He is survived by his wife, Lindsay, a bun in the oven, their expected daughter; his children, Aidan, Annika, Abigail and Ava; his parents, Greg and Patti Pepperd; his grandmother, Donna Rhett, all of Wasilla, Alaska; his brothers and sister, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and countless friends.
He entered heaven with his beloved son, Andrew.
A memorial service will be held at Anchorage Bible Fellowship on Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, at 3 p.m.

I miss you, my dear friend. From our fun times which began at NNC in Nampa, to watching our families grow in size and wathing each others children grow through pictures. I pray for God's peace my brother, for those left to mourn the loss of you and Andrew. I pray for Aidan and Lindsay, for your girls and your family. I love you my brother. I had hoped that your godson (my son) would someday have the opportunity to fish and hunt with you. Alas, it was not meant to be. Love in Christ!

Your family and the staff at Davis Constuctors have Ben in my thoughts and prayers since I learned about your family's loss. Josh was an outstanding business leader and gave so much to Anchorage. Lindsay, Our prayers and thoughts have been with you and your family throughout this vigil. We know that the God of all comfort is intimately surrounding you during this time but know also that He grieves with your loss (Ps 116:15). Early the other morning on my way to work I was praying for you and a song came on the radio from Casting Crowns called "Oh my Soul" and reminded me that you're not alone and God's comfort will remain. Knowing that Joshua and Andrew are in the arms of Jesus experiencing ultimate Joy makes that "day of rejoicing" when we see Him face to face longingly sweeter. While we are still here in our earth suits, the waves of mourning and pain will still strike but God is faithful to strengthen you through the rest of the journey. It sounds like you have a great family and church support there but know also that you have a lot of love, prayer, and hugs from your family in the lower 48. quin
