Judith Koonooka Beltz passed away on Nov. 22, 2017, due to a long battle with cancer. She passed with loving family by her side.
Services were held on Dec. 2, 2017, at the First Covenant Church, located at 11th and C St. in Anchorage, Alaska.
Judith Beltz was born on June 1, 1950, in Gambell, Alaska, to Harold and Ilene Koonooka and was the oldest daughter born of this union.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Marie Beltz; Judy's mother and father; brother, Gerold Koonooka; and sisters, Ila James, Donna and Rachel Koonooka and Marjorie Maldonado.
Judith is survived by Thomas Lloyd Beltz Jr.; her sons, Jack L. and Thomas C Beltz; her oldest daughter, Johanna Koonooka; brothers, Merlin, Job, Ben and Alwayne Koonooka; sisters, Rhoda Boolowon, Betsy Kotongan and Dorene Kulukhon; and her grandchildren, Lily Beltz, Ilene Myron Koonooka and Daniel Konahok.
Judith was a Ward Clerk at ANMC, a Long-Distance Operator for RCA, a Secretary for NS School District and a Telephone Operator for ANMC until she became disabled. She enjoyed shopping at Value Village and spending time with children and grandchildren. Her family misses her dearly.
