Former Alaska resident Karen Huffman, 64, died March 12, 2007, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Portland, Ore.
As she requested, no service is planned.
Mrs. Huffman was born Oct. 24, 1942, to Lee and Lucille Allmon, in Portland. She attended Laurelhurst Grade School and Grant High School in Portland.
She married Larry Huffman in 1962.
The couple lived in Portland and Eugene, Ore., before coming to Alaska. Mrs. Huffman followed her husband here in 1971. They lived for a year in Fairbanks and settled in Anchorage in 1972.
The couple relocated to Renton, Wash., in 1980 and to Lincoln City, Ore., in 1999.
Mrs. Huffman is survived by her husband, Larry of Lincoln City; sister, Elaine Nohnson; and niece, Katie Johnson.
