It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have to mourn the loss and indescribable sadness of such a beautiful and loving, caring Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister, Wife and Friend to so many as she lost her battle to a long illness and is now with her Father God and loved ones in Heaven. Kathleen was born in Alameda, Calif., on April 5, 1943. She was such a caring person who would have, and did, so much for so many including donating generously to numerous charities. She has sacrificed so much for Children all of her life. She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Aldrich; and mother, Winafred Aldrich. She is survived by her husband, Wallace Arima; brother, Jerald Aldrich; four children, Bryce Unger, Randy Unger, Sherrilyn Unger and Deanna Houston; grandchildren, Natasha Bacher, Ashley Ekstrand, Valerie Unger, Jessica Unger, Bree Redmond, Makayla Unger, Madison Unger, Taylor Unger, Crystal Meyers, Jenna Brown and Stacy Brown; and great-grandchildren Aidan Meyers, Dixon Meyers, Elliieanna Fiske, Ahmedeaus Hoffman, Brydon Hoffman, Azariah Houston, Kasen Benson and Jalani Unger. Thank you, God, for blessing us all with this beautiful woman. As we all will miss her every single day, we know she is dancing in the Heavens and singing in God's choir. She loved to dance and sing so beautifully, and playing her piano was her passion as well. Our family will be having a private memorial this summer at her beautiful home on Big Beaver Lake, Alaska, where she loved to garden and spend time with family. She also loved watching "The Voice" every week. In lieu of flowers, if whoever finds it in their hearts to do so, please donate to any children's charity as children put the most beautiful smile on her face more than ever.
