Lajuana Trenae Hall, 55, passed away July 10, 2018 at Providence Alaska Medical Center from colon cancer. A celebration of life will be at 1:30pm on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Providence Alaska Medical Center, West Auditorium.

Lajuana was born January 21, 1963 in Nashville, TN to Doris and Herminio Ballio. She graduated from high school and earned her CNA certification.

She moved to Alaska in 1991 making Anchorage her home. She continued her education at U.A.A. to advance her medical knowledge. She worked for Providence Alaska Medical Center for 26 years (2/3/1992-7/10/2018), and for St Elias Specialty Hospital as a unit secretary for 9 years beginning on 7/28/2009. She earned a 25-year service award from PAMC and was adored by her coworkers there. She was also referred to as "The spirit of St Elias." She was a workaholic and loved both of her jobs and serving people. She loved her co-workers and the doctors very much. She was beloved by her "PAMC and St. Elias family."

She fellowshipped in a multiple of churches over the years. She had a deep abiding faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed playing bingo, basketball, softball, watching lots of movies and helping others.

"Lajuana is a wonderful person, always taking care of others. She was known for making sure things are done right the first time and she worked hard to make others happy. She was a dear friend and inspiration to all. Lajuana will always have a place in our hearts and will be greatly missed."

She is survived by her husband, Robert Hall; her son, Reuben Chatman; her parents, Doris and Herminio Ballio; siblings, Cordia Ballio, Raymond Ballio, Herminio Ballio II, Kosina Vega; 8 nieces and 8 nephews. Words of comfort can be shared with the family at
