Larry Ralph Kaiser, 76, passed away on Feb. 2, 2018, at his home.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
Larry was born and raised in Dolton, a suburb of Chicago, Ill. He continued his education at Thornton College. The Army sent Larry to Alaska in 1964, honorably serving until 1966. Larry remained in Alaska, as he had acquired a love for this state. Over the years, he worked as a sales manager and senior account executive during the Pipeline Era. Larry began his first entrepreneurial venture when he established The Raven bar on Dec. 1, 1982 which has continued to flourish.
Larry was a sports enthusiast. He also enjoyed stamp collecting and was a lifetime member of the Anchorage Philatelic Society.
Larry is survived by his brother, Richard; two nieces, Christine and Barbara; and one nephew, David.
