Leslie Alldredge Obituary

Leslie Wayne Alldredge passed away in his sleep in the arms of his precious Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. We are already feeling the loss of this wonderful husband, father and friend. He was dearly loved and, more importantly, he loved dearly. He was born to Scytha and Lynvoy in Gorman, Texas. Because his father was in the military, he lived in several places throughout the nation and 2 years in Germany. His father retired in Fairbanks, Alaska, where Les graduate from Lathrop High School. He was pleased to attend his 50th class reunion in 2014.
He attended University of Alaska Fairbanks, then went on to receive his degree in theology at Abilene Christian College. He married Nancy and they lived in New York for 5 years, then moved back to Alaska, where they raised their five children. He worked for Alyeska Pipeline Service Co., where he held several positions in management then retired after 25 years.
Leslie was a follower of Jesus Christ and spent his live sharing His love and the message of salvation with others, from his outreach work in the inner cities of New York to prison ministries in Alaska. He was a bible teacher and mentor who influenced many lives: A generous man who was always looking for a way to give and be a blessing to everyone.
As an artist, author, avid outdoorsmen and die-hard Cowboys fan, he found many ways to express his artistic and creative abilities. He loved to travel, but especially enjoyed exploring all of Alaska's beauty throughout his life and shared this love with his family on many rugged camping trips. His family shared a close relationship and deep love for their father and he will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Alldredge; his children, Aeneas, Christian, Eagle, Amber and James; stepchildren, Jerry and Sherrie; many grandchildren; step-grandchildren; and step-great- grandchildren. All knew of his deep love for them.
A memorial service will be held at Chapel by the Sea on June 3, 2017, at 1 p.m., with a viewing at 12:30 p.m. A reception will be held immediately afterwards. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to AK Correctional Ministries, if desired.

I would like to offer you my thoughts and prayers during this unexpected time of your life. There are no words that could bring mourning or grieve to an end, but please know that God has a much greater way that will bring these things to an end Matthew 5: 4.
