Lloyd Andrew Allen, 70, passed away in Las Vegas, Nev., on May 7, 2018. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 3 p.m., at Legacy Funeral Home, Heritage Chapel, 440 East Klatt Road in Anchorage, Alaska. Lloyd was born on May 16, 1947, in Tatitlek, Alaska, to Andrew and Seena Allen.
He was affectionately referred to as Dad, Daddio, Pops, Lloydie, Uppa and Shorty. Lloyd's unconditional love for his children, God and The Tatitlek Corporation was his driving force. He lived for his children. He always wanted the best for them in every way. He loved them dearly. He proudly displayed his love and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. His number one passion was The Tatitlek Corporation. He wanted the best opportunities for his people (the shareholders). According to Lloyd, every shareholder and shareholder descendant was important to him and more importantly valued. Dad, Daddio, Pops, Lloydie, Uppa and Shorty. This is who he was. He will be remembered by his famous reply "Oh, Alright!" We will miss his kind and generous heart. He loved fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his family. He will be truly missed.
Lloyd is survived by his brother, John; two sisters, Leona and Margie; four children, Stella, Leonard, Tiffany and Dana; six grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Caleb, Valerie, Taylor and Porter; and numerous friends.
His cremains will be scattered at Boulder Bay, Alaska.
