Martin Mazzo IV, 58, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.
He was born on Dec. 16, 1958, in Rochester, N.Y., to Martin Mazzo III and Florence Geraldine Sterling. Martin served in the Army Reserves, graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University and worked at ConocoPhillips for 28 years.
Martin was an amazing husband, father and friend. He loved spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and playing cards. He could put a smile on anyone's face!
Martin is survived by his wife, Amy; son, Martin Mazzo V; daughter, Isabella; sisters, Jane and husband Bob Minnis, Kathy and husband Mike Henneberry and Candy Mazzo-Fraire and husband Pedro; brothers, Randy and Jerry and wife Charline Mazzo; mother-in-law, Cindy Riley; father-in-law, Gary Dodd; brother-in-law, Andrew Dodd; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Terry; and sister, Cheri Mazzo.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at 5 p.m., at Awaken Church, 5295 Juneau Street in Anchorage. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the ,; or our beloved church's building expansion project,, in Martin's honor.
