Beloved sister, wife, mother and friend, has passed away after an eight-month battle with leukemia. She will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know her.
She was born in Lestock, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Mary and Louis Majgut on April 29, 1934. She was married to Joseph Nolin on Valentine's Day 1953, in Kamloops, B.C., eventually moving to Anchorage, Alaska, in 1968, and raising her family. She was an avid sports fan, and the first female hockey and baseball coach in the late '60s and '70s. Retiring to Mesa, Ariz., with Joseph in 1985, she enjoyed traveling the country visiting friends and family till his passing in 1996. She then began snowbirding to spend summers in Alaska to be with family until her diagnosis in October 2017. Her battle with cancer ended on May 31, 2018. She will be missed dearly by all whose lives she touched.
A remembrance will be held in her honor at her son David's home on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 3 p.m. at 9031 Noble Circle in Anchorage. Call for details 229-9750.
