Michael "Rip" Troy Bayless, passed away on May 7, 2017, in a vehicle accident in Pecos, Texas. The Lord took his hand and walked him through the Gates of Heaven. It comforts his family to know that he was a believer in Christ and that he was not alone.
Rip was born on Jan. 16, 1970, in Houston, Texas. He grew up playing many years of football. Shortly after high school he enlisted in the Navy, where he made life long friendships during the 10 years of his service. He served during Desert Storm, in the Persian Gulf and participated in Operation Desert Fox on the Carl Vinson.
One of Rip's proudest achievements was earning his Bachelors of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2014.
Rip's greatest joy in life was his family. He loved spending quality time with his wife and kids, traveling, going for hikes, sledding, watching movies, long bike rides, throwing the football and jet skiing on the lake.
He will be greatly missed beyond belief by his family and friends.
