Nicholas "Nick" Christopher Morgan went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018. He passed peacefully at his home in Seattle, Wash., having just recently moved to Seattle. Nick was born on Feb. 27, 1983, in Anchorage, Alaska.
He attended Service High School and had graduated with a degree in automotive mechanics from Denver Automotive and Diesel College. After realizing his real talent was in business and sales, he worked for several car dealers, including Mercedes Benz of Anchorage. He also started his own successful towing company, which became one of the largest in Alaska. After selling that business, he returned to Mercedes Benz of Anchorage, where he rose to the position of General Sales Manager. In November 2017, he moved to Seattle and went to work as a Sales Manager for Mercedes Benz of Seattle.
Nick was a body builder and won the titles of Mr. Service and Mr. Southside while in high school. He had many friends who he worked out with. He worked as a personal trainer and nutrition coach for many people, including Miss Alaska USA.
Nicholas was known to have a positive, uplifting personality, and was always willing to give of his time to his friends and family. He believed that everyone could be highly successful, and he encouraged and supported all those around him that wanted to be so. He loved competition, but believed that in the end, everyone could win.
He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Angela Dirks of Seattle, Wash.; Michael and Chris Morgan of Ventura, Calif.; Michelle Morgan of San Francisco, Calif.; Carolyne Morgan of Manchester, Ga.; four nephews; and two nieces.
A celebration of life will be held in early April in Anchorage, Alaska.
