Patricia Ann Christman, 86, passed away on Oct. 5, 2017, in an Assisted Living Home in Anchorage, Alaska.
Patricia was born on Feb. 6, 1931, in Paola, Kan.
She graduated from high school in Salisbury, Mo.
Patricia moved to Alaska on Nov. 19, 1957, with her husband, Richard, who was in the military. Richard retired from the military and they remained in Anchorage. He passed away from cancer in 1983.
Patricia worked for the Salisbury Telephone Co. in Salisbury, Mo., from 1947-1949. She also worked for Anchorage Telephone Utility for 25 years, until her retirement in 1996.
Patricia was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Anchorage since 1972.
Her hobbies included reading, gardening and shopping.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Christman; parents, Harold E. and Letha Bulen; and brother, Donald Eldon Bulen.
She is survived by her sons, Richard D. and Dora (Chun) Christman of Alameda, Calif., and David A. and Nancy Christman of Anchorage; grandsons, Branden and Aaron Christman of Alameda, Calif.; a niece; and several nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, at 10 a.m., with the funeral mass following at 11 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Anchorage. Memorial donations can be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School, 2901 East Huffman Road, Anchorage, AK 99516.
