Long time Anchorage, Alaska, resident Pearl Williams-Youngblood, 83, passed away on Nov. 25, 2017, at her residence in Anchorage.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Heritage Chapel, 440 East Klatt Road in Anchorage, on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at 2 p.m.
Pearl was born on Feb. 27, 1934, in McLoud, Okla., to Cleo Youngblood and Beatrice Whitley.
She and her family came to Anchorage in November 1978. She worked for the Municipality of Anchorage as a Bus Operator. Upon retiring, she enjoyed hobbies such as bingo, solving puzzles, traveling and shopping.
She attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses and enjoyed bible study. She loved and lived life to the fullest.
She is preceded in death by her father, Cleo Youngblood; mother, Beatrice Youngblood; brothers, David and Harvey Kelly; and daughter, Saretta Nelson.
She is survived by her children, Lula and Michael Richardson, Oretha Nelson, Rayford and Shelia Bonner, Leetta and Freddie Smith, Cleo and Ricardo McIntosh, Ladell Stokely and Visano Nelson; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
