Former Anchorage resident Peggy R. Pennington, 53, died peacefully Nov. 25, 2007, in Aurora, Colo., with her family at her side.
A celebration of her life was held.
Peggy was born Feb. 19, 1954, in Anchorage and grew up here.
"Peggy lived in and loved Aurora for the past 20 years," her family wrote.
"Peggy was the creative energy of all who knew and loved her. She lived life to its fullest."
Peggy is survived by her father, Charles Pennington; son, Jim Letts; stepchildren, Kristi Krueger and Alan Short; four sisters, Jan, Gail, Beth and Mary; brother, Dann; companion, Monte; a huge number of friends; and her pets.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the The Denver Hospice.
Funeral arrangements are with Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services, Parker, Colo.
