Lifelong Alaska resident Reynold M. Voyles succumbed to COPD after a long illness on March 2, 2018, at the age of 70.
A viewing was held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at the Anchorage Funeral Home, with burial to take place at the Copper Center Cemetery. Officiating the services was Pastor Davis Hobson.
Rey was a mechanic his friends all called on. He loved shooting pool and helping his little sister, Alberta, with her kids. Rey was also a Navy veteran, joining the service shortly after graduating high school.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Voyles; and siblings, Earl Voyles, Theresa M. Philips and Deborah Osborne.
He leaves behind his siblings, James Voyles Jr., Mike Voyles, Lisa Yoshimoto, Alberta Voyles, Valerie Smith and Darcy Reighard; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
