Richard Waldeck II, 49, passed away on June 11, 2017, at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska.
Richard's children and family would like to announce that there will be no services, per Richard's request. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Richard was born on Aug. 23, 1967, at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. He worked for many years for Ice Services on the North Slope, multi-tasking between housekeeping and cooking or baking in the kitchen. Richard spent much of his time away from work caring for friends and family, enjoying television and music. He strived to share laughter, a drink and a hug.
Richard is survived by his children, Jonathan Waldeck, Victoria Waldeck, Matthew Young, Helen Them (Young) and Daniel Young, all of Anchorage; and his mother, Judy Albert and brother, Bryant Waldeck, both of Fairbanks, Alaska.
He is preceded in death by his first born son, Steven Waldeck; father, Richard Waldeck; and sister, Stephanie Waldeck.
