Robert "Bob" Alan Roskelley Jr., 73, passed away on July 10, 2018, surrounded by family in Anchorage, Alaska.
Bob was born on Feb.18, 1945, in Seattle, Wash., to Robert and Kay Roskelley. He graduated from Burlington-Edison High School in 1963. Bob married the love of his life, Wilma "Roz" Byrd, in 1963, in Twin Falls, Idaho. In 1974, he and his family moved to Fairbanks, Alaska.
He began his career as a mechanic at N C Machinery in 1965, and advanced through the company for 53 years, where he was employed until the date of his illness.
He is survived by his wife, Roz, of 54 years; his children, Beth Hermans and Jeff Roskelley, and their spouses; as well as Bob's grandchildren, Alexis Buhrman, Brian Roskelley, Jenelle Roskelley, Joshua Hermans and Kolton Roskelley. He is also survived by his siblings, David Roskelley, John Roskelley and Laura Erickson, and their spouses. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bob enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and vacationing with his wife.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
