Robin Roland Lemm, "Rob," passed away with his wife; son, Zack; and his friend, Carol Sullivan; by his side at Mat-Su Regional Hospital on Feb. 13, 2018, at the age of 64.
Robin Roland Lemm was born on June 27, 1953, in Bremerton, Wash., to Roland and MaryAnn Lemm and moved to Alaska in 1963 with his family.
He joined the Painters Union at the age of 17, and throughout his life was a painter, drywaller and wallpaper hanger for custom homes and commercial buildings. Rob was proud of the home he built for his family; he always had a heart for children and welcomed them into his home. Rob never met a stranger and had a way of making you laugh with his goofy ways.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Daniel; and sister, Lisa. Rob is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Marie of 27 years; his children, Daniel, Alaina, Nicholas, Rebecca and Zachary Lemm; his brother, Timothy; his sister, Tina Marie; grandchildren, Ethan, Awna Marie, Sairose and Genevieve; stepsons, Anthony and Ryan Oliveri; also one of his friends of 45 years, Bob McCabe; his buddies, Veronica Hootch Barrett and Gwen Emel; and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at King's Chapel Alaska, 1701 North Lucille Street in Wasilla, Alaska, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018.
John 14:2-4 "In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going."
