Stephanie Marie Adams (Ririe) passed away peacefully on Jan. 7, 2018, in Ketchikan, Alaska.
Stephanie was born on Jan. 18, 1989, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended school in Anchorage, Alaska, and graduated from Service High School in 2006. She pursued her career in childhood education, restaurant management and bartending.
Stephanie was a very adventurous person and was never afraid to try new things. She had a very passionate love for her family, friends and hobbies, which included singing, cooking, theatrical musicals and a variety of outdoor activities. Stephanie enjoyed playing the viola for 20 years, and was a member of the Anchorage Youth Symphony. She studied early childhood development while working at the YMCA. Stephanie will be forever remembered for her contagious laughter, strong love and talent for music. She was an avid reader with a passion for Ancient History.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Adams; her mother, Tina Young; father and stepmother, Mike and Heather Ririe; siblings, Melynda, David, Travis and Maddy of Anchorage, Jennifer of Colorado, Susie and Tom of Nevada, Katie of Utah, and Bonnie of Arizona; and a host of nieces and nephews. Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Burton and Rae Ririe, Harold Love and Marjorie Jones; and her brother, Michael James Ririe.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. The Anchorage Moose Lodge No. 1534 has graciously offered their facility in memory of Stephanie, located at 4221 Arctic Boulevard.
The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness.
