Thomas Andrew Demyan, 73, passed away on Oct. 24, 2017, at Prestige Care Center in Anchorage, Alaska.
A graveside service with military honors rendered by the U.S. Air Force was conducted on Oct. 27, 2017, at Fort Richardson National Cemetery, located at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
Tom was born on July 13, 1944, in Surosa, W.Va. He graduated from Stoco High School in 1962. Tom honorably served in the U.S. Air Force as a fireman. He was a resident of Anchorage area, where he was a commercial fisherman.
His family stated: "He will be missed by family and friends."
Tom is survived by four sisters, Nera Sue Demyan of Beckley, W.Va., Betty Wolford of Mountain Lake Park, Md., Charlotte Thomas of Elkins, W.Va., and Judy Cotner of Stephens City, Va.; and two brothers, Frank Demyan of Huttonsville, W.Va., and Greg Demyan of Beckley, W.Va.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Nera Demyan; and brother, Johnny Demyan.
