Anchorage, Alaska, resident Timothy Harold Ward, age 39, passed away at home on Sept. 22, 2017; he was born in Kodiak, Alaska, on Oct. 19, 1977, and was raised in Chignik Lagoon, Anchorage and Soldotna, Alaska. He graduated from Skyview High School in 1996, and fell in love while commercial fishing in Chignik Lagoon, where he met his wife; they got married in Anchorage on June 21, 2003.
Tim was a fun loving and adventurous spirit that enjoyed the outdoors and helping others; he was a true selfless Alaskan that was devoted to his wife, family and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his father-in-law, "Morru" Marius Pete Pedersen; his father, Eric Lamar Ward; and by his grandparents, Harold and Alice Anderson, and Harold and Betty Ward.
He is survived by his wife, Kaisha LeNae Pedersen; mother, Bernice Lillian Ward; brother, Eric Paul Ward (with his wife Tina and daughter Elisha); mother-in-law, "Doni" Shera Starre'; brother-in-law, Morry "Skyler" Pedersen and sister-in-law, "Nikki" Nicole Bucy-Pedersen; uncles, Harold "Gary" Anderson, George Anderson, Edward Ward, Tom Jessup and Cagney Point; aunts, Irene Clark-Point, Ramona Duby, Kyra Murphy, Joy Jessup, Starr Ward, Erma Ward, Christina Anderson and Beverly Pedersen; nephews and nieces, Lindsey Mae Ward, Alec Tyler Pedersen, Ryan Avery Ward, Ariana Nicole Pedersen, Caleb Allen Ward, Jace Reider Pedersen, Ember-lee Ward and Edmund Ward; as well as his dear cousins and close friends.
A Celebration of Life was held for family and friends on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, at the Bucy Residence on Campbell Lake in Anchorage, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
