Tonya Marie Rollison, 45, passed into eternal life on June 13, 2015. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at ChangePoint Church in Anchorage, Alaska, on Friday, June 19, 2015, at 4 p.m. with a reception afterwards at O'Malley's on the Green. Tonya was born on Dec. 21, 1969, to Bill and Nancy Magnuson in Anchorage, Alaska. She graduated from Chugiak High School in 1987, and then attended the University of Alaska Anchorage. Tonya worked in the insurance industry for Ribelin Lowell Insurance Brokers, Inc. and Alaska USA for 16 years, rising to the position of account executive after only eight years. While playing co-ed softball, she became reacquainted and fell in love with her future husband, the late Kevin Rollison. The couple married on Sept. 4, 1993, in Chugiak, Alaska, and bought a home in south Anchorage before the first of their three daughters was born. Tonya was very active in multiple charitable organizations and served as the Chairperson of the Easter Seals Alaska during a portion of her 11 year tenure. Tonya deeply loved her children and was very active in all of her three children's musical pursuits and sporting events, especially softball. She enjoyed horse-back riding, softball, reading, shopping, spending time with family and helping others. We will always remember our sister for her generosity, willingness to put others first, smile, laughter, spirit and grace. She was truly a friend to anyone in need of help and always saw the best in others. Tonya's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ donation. Tonya is survived by her three daughters, Jordan, Devon and Cameron; brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Amy Magnuson of Vacaville, Calif.; sister and brother-in-law, Kristine and Stephen Mottram of Denver, Colo.; sister, Amy Magnuson of Anchorage; brother and sister-in-law, William and Katherine Magnuson of Madison, Wis.; and 11 nephews and nieces. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to an account that will help support Tonya's beautiful children. Although a GoFundMe account has been established, we would encourage that donations be made directly to a Wells Fargo account (#8219460998 or located under Tonya Rollison) that has been created by calling 1-800-869-3557. Using this account will ensure that 100% of your donation goes to the family.
