Vivian Jean Tomlinson of Wasilla, Alaska, died of advanced lung cancer December 21, 2013. Born in Flint Michigan June 22, 1956 to the late James and Geraldine Craig. Vivian moved to Anchorage

Alaska in 1963 at the age of 7 where her and her family endured the 1964 earthquake. As a teenager she married William Kiernan and had 3 children. Later she divorced and remarried Timothy Tomlinson who she shared 29 years with and had 3 more children. They moved to Wasilla Alaska in 2002. Many have said "when she was made they broke the mold." She was truly one of a kind!

To know her was definitely to love her!

She worked for an emergency answering service for 5 years. She owned & managed a tow company for 10 years, operated and managed Quality Tune automotive for 6 years, and 10 years as an administrative assistant to two directors one of which was also a project manager for the Hilton Anchorage Hotel.

Vivian was always very outgoing, worked hard and played harder. She had a green thumb, loved to 4 wheel, snow machine and camp. Loved to crochet, cook for an army, play board and card games. She was a fighter, stubborn, very loving, caring and would give to anyone in need. She may be physically gone but her spirit will live on with Jesus and she will never be forgotten or replaced!

Vivian is survived by her husband Tim; daughters Angela, Christine and Sabrina; sons Brandon and Craig; sisters Tammy and Dawn; brothers Jim and Earl; 6 grandchildren; and aunts uncles in Port Huron MI. A close mother in law in Illinois; and numerous in-laws all over. She will be loved Always & Forever!

A Visitation will be at Valley Funeral Home in Wasilla AK, Friday January 3, 2013 @ 3:15-5:00 p.m.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, to help with costs, donations can be made in Vivians name to: Sebrina Jean Tomlinson, 415 E. Shadow Cr, Wasilla, AK 99654.
